do not trust the process

I am a sophomore transfer student who was going through the recruitment process and I dropped today, right before preference. I had amazing conversations with certain chapters that I liked day 1 and day 2, and by the time day 3 came over, they had dropped me. The only chapters that invited me back were ones that I totally did not fit into and so i dropped completely. I am glad I did; these were girls that I totally do not fit into and my life would have been miserable if i had joined. Do not listen to all the stupid and brainwashed Pi Chis who tell you to "trust the process". Reality is that THERE IS NO RELIABLE PROCESS. Trust YOUR HEART AND BRAIN and do what you believe is right. DO NOT TRUST THE PROCESS.

I dropped yesterday bc the only 2 houses I had amazing convos with dropped me. I felt like I did not fit in with the remaining ones and I don’t trust the process either

Coming from someone who has been on all sides of recruitment, I get how it can be frustrating to keep hearing "trust the process" when you don't feel the process worked in your favor. But what else do you want the pi chis to say? I'm confused though... why would you want to be in a chapter that released you anyway? Why wouldn't you give the ones that invited you back a chance? It doesn't hurt. Your mentality is negative.
