friendships

are sororities just about partying? or do you actually get meaningful friendships from them? i wanna join one but i do want to make meaningful friendships

in my experience, i've made my best friends through joining a chapter. especially at BU, they are not just about partying. recruitment will help you find the place where you see yourself making those meaningful friendships

i saw one of my friends (in a sorority) mixer schedule and there was literally 2 planned for every weekend. do the girls actually go to most of these? i might go occasionally if i were in a sorority but i definitely cannot afford to go every weekend

i know i can skip the ones i don't want to go to, but the point is that i'm worried that all my friends would go to these mixers and i wouldn't have anyone to just chill with. you know?
