what does it mean when a sorority says that they are having closed informal rush? is there any way i could get invited if i know someone in the chapter? I'm a junior transfer student and I really want a way to get to know more people and be involved

It means that someone within the chapter needs to recommend you for recruitment. If you know someone well within the chapter, you could ask them about informal.
