should i settle or try again?
by: pleasehelpHi sophomore PNM here! I'm currently rushing and was cut from the ones that I felt I fit best in. I'm worried that I may end up having to settle for a sorority that I don't feel like I fully mesh with. Should I just pick the best fit that I can, even if I know it's not a great fit and there are better ones for me, or should I drop Monday (once I get a better feel) and try informal/rush again next Spring as a junior?

I would defiantly take a breath and recenter yourself. It sucks to get cut. It is so hard not to take it personally. However, there are 10 great sororities at this school and maybe, if you give them the chance, you'll end up right where you belong. Defiantly talk to a Pi Chi about it. I will be honest and say that not all chapters do informal rush and very few junior girls do formal rush.
