Kappa Delta - ΚΔ Sorority Ratings at BU

I'm really confused how people consider KD to be upper middle/lower top. They're not very relevant on campus, and none of them are like outstandingly beautiful. I know many people have dropped out recently because they are cliquey and just overall not nice girls. Definitely dropping.

- Strong, loving, and diverse sisterhood - Has one of the highest GPA rankings among the sororities at BU - Supportive of all other greek organizations, consistently attending other houses' events - Mentors to the Girl Scouts in addition to hosting fundraising events on campus for Prevent Child Abuse America - Has lots of fun-themed mixers with fraternities and other organizations - Involved in organizations and communities outside of greek life

So sad to see this sorority decline after such a promising start a few years ago. I hope they can get it together but as of now they've been falling fast to Gphi/SK level. They'll have to really step it up at recruitment this year to get back to the top of the mid tier, I'm curious to see how they'll do..

I know so many people that have dropped this past semester due to lack of inclusiveness and sisterhood.... Not a very good sign for the future

I know a few KDs and while they're really pretty and come across as cool, there always seems to be a TON of drama. I guess they're a "typical" sorority in that way, but there are other BU sororities that are far more relaxed with sisters that actually get along

Very active sorority full of girls who are truly beautiful inside and out

I never see them around campus and I think their philanthropy is kind of weak. Last spring, they didn't actually raise any money, they just had a Girl Scout troop (one of the KDs little sisters troops) sell cookies there. I've also been at a philanthropy event for a different sororities where they were the only organization that didn't have a group participating. I'm sure there are a lot of smart, nice girls in KD, this is just my observation about their involvement.

Above average. We all know who the top three are, it's solid. Fourth's currently the gamma phis and I don't think anyone cares much, none of these other sororities will break into top three any time soon so chill with the self ranks KDs. You're ok across the board, not too relevant, not up and coming but solid mid and not going to disappear. I'm not a Greek life kind of person but my roomie pledged and if she had gone with the KDs it would have been fine and respectable.

3 self rankings in 2 days? Please stop. KD says (according to a self rank below) that they don't pick based on looks, but neither do most top tier sororities. Sororities give bids to girls who they feel embody the spirit and values of the sorority, not just because they're pretty. And the reason KD is middle tier and don't do very well in recruitment is simply because other girls prefer other sororities.

I'm not in greek life but have several friends that ended up in different sororities! Of course all of them have their ups and downs but for the most part the KDs that I've met are a lot nicer than girls in other sororities. They're down to earth but can party as well. They are middle tier for sure but have been moving up in recent years. if i had rushed i wouldve either gone KD or ADPi
