how does the housing system work?

Are there any sororities with actual houses to live in? And how does that work? I heard they were going to be constructing a new Greek Row this spring? When will that be done by?

Alpha Chi is the only one with an actual house. Alpha Xi lives in the new greek apartments, which the other sororities have passed on living in but had the opportunity to live in and have to opportunity to move in at any point.

Also, it's highly notable that the "house" in the above response is tiny, yet if you live there you have to share everything with the other girls, even pay dues towards it.The apartment complex is nicer and the better deal if you're looking for a more true-to-form sorority experience.

P.S.
I'm not in either sorority but I've seen both and the alpha xi apartment complex is a helluva lot nicer!

the only sororities with houses are alpha xi and alpha chi.
alpha chi lives in a one story house, alpha xis live in a two story apartment type.
there's a few fraternity's with houses as well.
