Top Tier: Zeta (Nice girls, philanthropic), KD (Secretive, Religious), ADPi (Most attractive, parties hard)

Middle Tier: GPhiB (Trying to make a name for themselves), AXO (Sort of generic, nothing bad but no massive strengths)

Bottom Tier: AOPi (Nice girls, but have had the bottom tier rep for awhile)

I don't believe there are tiers at FSC. With only six chapters on campus, each sorority offers something unique and a different mix of girls. You really must go into the recruitment process with an open mind and let go of any preconceived notions that you might have. The girls who accept bids based solely on the fact that it is a "top tier" house and not based on where she feels the deepest connection, will be the same girls who end up either dropping or being unhappy with the choice.

Amazing that women have come so far but are still judged by a few moments in recruitment. Anyone asking about tiers should think again about what they want from a sorority. Sororities that "cut" based on "not being a good fit" really move women back decades. There should never be a Potential New Member left at the end of Recruitment without a BID. Open minds and open hearts lead to great sisters.

PNMs are normally between 17-22 years old, thus the community-at-large has known them or known of them for the same duration. Familiarity can breed quick decisions by sorority women during recruitment.

Any pnm attending ALL her invitational parties and listing ALL her pref groups on her pref card will receive a bid. Sororities and recruitment counselors strongly encourage pnms to keep an open mind and rank/attend all sorority parties to which they are invited. This is recommended because sororities hold majority choice on whom they invite and bid, but a pnm only chooses which group(s) she wishes would invite her.

Be grateful recruitment isn't like the old days, back when sororities didn't host an all-sorority first party for all pnms and women had to have a specific invite just to start the recruitment process in a home.
