I guess it depends on why you think you made the wrong choice. If you haven't already dropped out of the sorority that you accepted a bid with, you need to figure out why the wrong choice. Is it because you are having a hard time connecting to the girls? Is it because the sorority you are in is not doing enough to promote sisterhood or social events? Just remember that the grass may not be greener on the other side. As far as going through recruitment again, would you be upset if your favorite choices dropped you, what if it does not work out they way you want? The first semester can be hard finding your way. Really take a look at the reasons to drop.

Take some time to figure out why you want to drop. I thought I wanted to drop my sorority the first semester too, but then I finally got to meet girls and now I love it. The other sororities probably won't remember you, but the one you drop will definitely remember you.

Agree whole heartedly about the previous two replies. Really think it out. There had to be a reason that you choose your sorority in the first place.

Think about the reasons for dropping. Each sorority operates differently. Some have less limitations than others. What is it that you want from a sorority? Remember that recruitment may go differently next time and maybe not the way you want. Are you willing to take that chance?
