Rush the sorority that is right for you. Don't just go for the name of the sorority, go for what makes you feel like you belong. Trust me you will know it. I had one sorority in mind during recruitment and when it came down to picking, I picked the one that fit me and it was not the one that I wanted originally.

The people who call founding classes a bunch of leftovers have no idea how much more dedication, confidence, and courage it takes to be a founding sister. A lot of girls that found a chapter haven't even gone through formal recruitment before. Also would you call your founding sisters from when your chapter started a bunch of recruitment leftovers? No.
Anyways, I know nothing about the current group of girls but I encourage you to spend time with them as much as possible before you decide if you want to maybe do a spring rush with them.

Many of the girls were not able to do formal recruitment because they forgot to sign up or had other stuff going on that week such as the bio lab camp. I went thru formal recruitment and many of my friends that did not get the chance thru signed up for AXO because they also wanted to be apart of a sisterhood. I have not met one AXO that was mean or demeaning. AXO is full of many well rounded beautiful girls. Pan love.

A new sorority comes on campus folks say the leftovers from rush are the new members of the colony. It just isn't true. Grow up and be more panhellenic.
