transfer interested in greek life
by: TransferI’ll be transferring to fgcu but I was in a fraternity at a big party school in a different state. I have a few questions about Greek life here. Is it a party scene (house parties, day drinks, date functions, mixers etc…) or bar scene? Cost of fraternity dues per semester? When is rush held? Would it be worth pledging again? Would a frat care if I disassociate from my previous fraternity to become a new member of theirs? Is this school strict or chill with Greek life? How big is the average frat? Sounds like its off campus housing, how expensive is rent in Ft. Myers area? Are there any big houses? Do cops shut down parties frequently? Any and all answers would be very appreciated thanks!

No one’s gonna answer you’re question cuz you’re asking about being in a fraternity when all this site is is just a bunch of insecure shallow sorority girls trying to boost their clout. What I can tell you is Greek life here is probably no where near as big or relevant as your previous school but I still recommend joining since you can miss out on a lot

alright fair enough, the reason I chose fgcu is because its always been my dream to go to school in Florida and Southwest Florida is one of my favorite places.
