rec letter

I have a close friend that is an alum of Zeta and is willing to write me a rec letter. I was wondering if it matters any or would give me a higher chance of getting a bid or if no one cares about Rec letters.

Letters don’t necessarily increase your chances unless the girls you talk to during recruitment want you.

It puts you on their radar quicker, but doesn't guarantee anything. Recs are just a slight bonus if you already fit their "look"

Rec lettters are nice, but it really isn't a determining factor of whether you get a bid or not. Your conversations, your values, and who you are as individual (both inside and out) however, does.
