Honestly they are my favorite sorority outside of my own

Being at Belmont for three years, seeing the growth of this sorority is insane. I have friends in this chapter here at Belmont, and I love hearing the passion in their words explaining their love for it. They love each other and seem to always be there for each other. These are wonderful women because they are always here for me even though I am not in greek life.

I mean this in the best way, you always know when there is an AST in the room. I'm not in Greek life, but this sorority seems to have come a long way in the past few years. Keep up the great work, ladies.

is it true that this AST is the biggest chapter in the country? if so, why? Also how is AST able to get away with being a party sorority if belmont is so strict with sorority rules. my sorority would probably not let me post pics with alcohol or parties. do they ever get in trouble?

I will say that AST has a lot of attractive girls that party but that doesn't make them similar to phi mu. Dont see a lot of phi mu's at parties being loud af. If anything ast is more similar to theta trying to be edgy (no offense i love ast) but theta isn't as social off campus. If Greeklife had houses they would have the pre-game house lol not a bad thing.

AST was the most fun during recruitment but phi mu had the best rooms, videos and shirts. AST room was very different from the others which i liked, no pink at all. (Didn't get a bid from either though)

AST was killing it this year. They are moving on up and deserve it. This is one of the top sororities on campus, and I want to go through recruitment next year because of them. I am a freshman, and a lot of my friends received bids from AST. They were so happy. I want AST so badly!

I really can't believe people are saying the good posts are self rank. where have you been? AST has always been an amazing organization that has honestly done really well these past two years in recruitment. I understand that belmont only has four sororities so the fight to be on top is insane but let's not be high schoolers. Phi mu and ast are very different sororities, not always making the other to be their "fallback" option. Phi Mu's are the girls that wanted phi mu and ast's are the girls that chose ast. So why are they even being compared?

I am going to be completely honest here. I could not believe how many girls wanted AST during recruitment, not to mean this in any wrong way at all but as a Rho gam I was really surprised. It made me want to peak inside the room to see what it looked like or what these girls were talking about because AST was most of my group's pref night option along with phi mu (a lot of my girls didn't get called back to thetas). Im not gonna bother arguing which sorority is best or whatever, I just wanted to compliment AST on their recruitment this year because they mustve really done something right. And no this isn't another ast, which is really upsetting that most people only talk about self rank on their page because believe it or not this chapter is growing
