I really can't believe people are saying the good posts are self rank. where have you been? AST has always been an amazing organization that has honestly done really well these past two years in recruitment. I understand that belmont only has four sororities so the fight to be on top is insane but let's not be high schoolers. Phi mu and ast are very different sororities, not always making the other to be their "fallback" option. Phi Mu's are the girls that wanted phi mu and ast's are the girls that chose ast. So why are they even being compared?

AGD has so much potential, but they are so unorganized. Their recruitment process is a joke. They lack substance and that shows in the conversations they have with others. I was so disappointed when I walked through those doors. Get it together ladies.

I was a PNM that did not get Phi Mu but ranked them first. I ended up getting my second choice and will be super happy but idk what the whole mean girl perception is all about. When I went through on preference night, i thought they were the most genuine women who cared about one another so obviously. I don't know why people are being hateful just because they are a really excellent chapter

Idk what thats all about but my pnms in my rho gam group were very upset when they didn't get called back to theta because they loved it. Great job ladies, keep it up

so i came here to compliment phi mu but reading through these I realized i was wrong. i can't believe how shallow it is to say "AST and Theta are the girls that cried over phi mu". As a rho gam, to be honest a lot of girls dropped phi mu because of their reputation as mean girls and i defended them over and over. I can't generalize because there are truly amazing humble phi mu girls that are some of my closest friends but clearly, there are incredibly stuck up ones. The girls i knew chose Theta and AST over their second option, which in some cases was phi mu. Theres no need to tear other sororities down to make you feel better for getting bad rankings so often, honestly.

I am going to be completely honest here. I could not believe how many girls wanted AST during recruitment, not to mean this in any wrong way at all but as a Rho gam I was really surprised. It made me want to peak inside the room to see what it looked like or what these girls were talking about because AST was most of my group's pref night option along with phi mu (a lot of my girls didn't get called back to thetas). Im not gonna bother arguing which sorority is best or whatever, I just wanted to compliment AST on their recruitment this year because they mustve really done something right. And no this isn't another ast, which is really upsetting that most people only talk about self rank on their page because believe it or not this chapter is growing

there are some great people in phi mu, but most are hard to have a conversation with and lack substance. I went with a sorority that doesn't make me feel like I constantly need to check my makeup to be a part of it.
