new kid on the block

Hi all.
I'll be transferring to BU as a sophomore this Spring and I'm thinking about rushing. Can someone give me an honest, unbiased opinion of the types of girls in the main sororities? How hard is it to rush as a sophomore? Average cost per month?
I'm obviously new to all of this, but would like some basic info.
Leave any tips you might have.

It going to be hard to get an honest, unbiased opinion. Why?... Competition between sororities, different opinions, diversity, etc. I would just go into rush week real friendly trying to meet and talk with as many people as you can. Have people introduce you to others. You will get a good sense of what sororities you prefer from that. In conclusion, don't read any ranking here... They are a bit bias. It more difficult as a sophomore, but a good chance. I will add that Baylor has great sororities, and I know so many people in all... Good luck!

Cost: Average about 750 per semester for dues. I would say I spend about $30-$40 a month of little things... shirts, donations, etc. Not too much compared to other Texas colleges. Again, best of luck!
