ha ha jeeze another fraternity? lol

We already have more than we can handle.

less than 240 guys went through rush this year.

For like 14 fraternities.

We need less chapters not more.

If we are going to bring on another national fraternity at least bring one on that is decent nationally.

Lambda Chi is terrible across America.....just one step up from TKE

KA or Pike would both be chapters that could be re-chartered that have some history at Baylor and are decent across the nation.

No more chapter needed. We just got a new one.

LXA has gone defunct not once, but twice at BU. LXA at the national level must realize the BU and greek culture conflict with Lambda Chi's principles at the national level. The chapter in the late 90s and early 2000s was respectable - it was not in the top tier as far as reputation, but it also was not in the bottom either. It placed in Sing and was okay in intramurals. Some solid guys but the chapter lacked comradery collectively as a fraternity. It had trouble finding its identity at BU. Some wanted it to be a Christian fraternity while others wanted it to a more contemporary social club. Ultimately, this led to the demise of LXA at BU.

Lambda Chi was strong when I went to Baylor ‘86. It has the 3rd amount of members nationally so I wouldn’t say it isn’t strong nationally. It may have lost its way at BU but I think the Christian values of the fraternity totally matches with Baylor.
