I'm a high school senior looking to rush next spring, where do I start?

You should contact the rush chairs of TKE, Beta, Sigma Chi, or SigEp and ask about their history, traditions, etc. These groups are gonna have huge upswing so really hone in on these ones. Also, BYX and Pi Kapp are also great choices.

Whenever you are here, ask if you can meet the members and try hard to impress them. I'd recommend TFM if you need tips on how to frat out.

Bottom line I would tell you that there are only a few chapters not worth joining.

TKE- because they are bad everywhere and only have like 20 members here.

Beta- Because they are a start up and only have like 35 members.

Sigma Chi- Another start up that only has like 26 members.

Everyone else is fine.....join any one of the others and have a good time.

If you are into service/sing/religion, ect.: KOT, Kappa Sig, ATO, Phi Chi

If you like to party: SAE, Phi Delt, SigEp, Delt

No one else really matters (TKE) or are too new to get a feel for what they are going to be like (Sigma Chi)

Pi Kapp has no history at Baylor and is bad in Texas

Y'all have been playing the history card for the past few years now...guess what? ATO and Pi Kapp have been on campus for 10 years now and are more relevant than Beta and Sigma Chi who had "history" here.

ATO is relevant because of numbers...... Take 35 guys every spring and people can't ignore you.

Pi Kapp is small, strange, and not relevant..... And probably never will be.
