Opinions on the new chapter? I've been hearing mixed things about them, some say they're weird others say they're good guys.

A 6-7 of them are good guys.

Their dads or uncles were Sigma Chi's at Baylor.

The rest are your standard group of weirdos that would join a new take anyone fraternity.

A few good guys and a bunch of goobers.

Just like when ATO, Pi Kapp, and Beta started up.

It will take a few years but they will probably be like Pi Kapp.

A couple of cool guys and a bunch of try hards who try to act "super frat"

Sigma Chi is a great national fraternity.

And they have a really good history at Baylor.

I would imagin that with 5 years they will be better than Pi Kapp, Beta, ect.

But they will have a hard time every being really good.

There is just too much competition at Baylor and not enough cool guys to go around.

Honestly, I feel that within a few more semesters (if they take a few more good pledge classes), they will be ranked within the upper middle tier. They have already surpassed BETA, TKE, & PI KAPP with simply one pledge class. A few more above average pledge classes, and they will be upper middle tier for sure.

It's sad to say but here at Baylor, the strength lies in numbers.
KOT KAPPA SIG and ATO all have one thing in common -a myriad of members. If Sigma Chi wants to be ranked higher than they are now,
they will need to take a lot of guy, but not just any guys - COOL GUYS !

New start up fraternities are notorious for attracting strange sort of out cast guys.

Heck ATO and Pi Kapp are still dealing with the effects of being start up chapters and they have been here for 9 years.

EXACTLY! Give these guys time, and then craft a perception of them. They've only had one pledge class for Christ sake.

Within the next few semesters, I believe they will recover greatly from being kicked off campus.

Their Pledge Class is full of ATO, KOT, Ksig, Phi Delt rejects who couldn't get a bid and wanted to be actually greek

No one gets rejected from ATO or Phi Delt.

100% of kids who go out for bids to those two fraternities get in.
