Rankings are about the same way they have always been for the past 40 years at Baylor.

Except that in the 1980s Phi Delt was top tier then they dropped, then in the early 1990s SigEp was huge and top tier then got kicked off, and then in the 2000s Fiji was considered top tier before they started to decline.

Other than that there has really not been much movement in terms of the fraternities at Baylor for decades.

KOT and Kappa Sig usually on top....with one or two more frats considered top tier. Usually SAE and Fiji historically.

Phi Delt, SigEp, Delt, ATO (Sigma Chi/KA before they both got kicked off) in the middle tier.

With whoever else is around falling down into the lower tiers.

Beta, Pi Kap, TKE, (With Sigma Nu, Lambda Chi, Sig Tau before they all got kicked off) ect.

Your historical account is lacking.

ATO was bottom tier for years when they first colonized. They gave bids out like candy and still do.

Phi Delt was never top tier either.

I never said ATO was historically top tier. Not sure were you are getting that.

And as far as Phi Delt being good in the 1980s....well that just what older alumni like my Dad told me. But who knows they might have just been middle tier and some people liked them more than others.

Obviously Phi Delt has declined since the 1980s and is just now crawling back to middle tier.

So as a freshman I should rush KOT and Kappa Sig?

With Phi Delt, ATO, SigEp, and Delt as a back up?

If you're a freshman asking about what you should rush on greekrank at this point in the rush process I would say ATO/PiKapp and Delt are for you.

KOT/KappaSig/PhiDelt/Fiji/SAE are probably not interested in you.

Also in reading the thread above it didn't say that ATO takes everyone (they don't) or that Phi Delt sucked since the 80s (they haven't) you're just reading what you want to read. Still though between the two if you haven't figured it out yet, ATO is probably for you. I also hear Beta should be pretty open to new meat.

Phi Delt is a great backup! They gave nearly every rushee one last spring. They're very easy to get into, kinda like ATO mixed with SigEp

is pretty bad now and are on the same level as Sig Ep. Fiji is OK but not that great.

Good list

Phi Delt and SigEp are both better than Fiji.

Fiji takes anyone they can just like ATO....but they are no where as big as ATO and far less involved. Fiji is also terrible mixed up....all kinds of guys and very few of them are friends with each other.

Except that Kot is not a fraternity. It is a Baylor club.

KOT is now the oldest continuingly operating fraternity at Baylor... 1960

It takes the largest or second largest pledge classes every year.

And most Highland Park guys go KOT.

Don't kid yourself KOT is one of the top three fraternities at Baylor.

Phi Chi also takes huge pledge classes.
I guess they are a great "frat" too
