baylor's greek life turning into ut's

has anyone noticed that the sororities here are turning out to be ranked just like the UT sororities?
For example, it's pretty clear that Pi Phi, Kappa, and Theta are the "top 3" (care most about looks, wealth, social status) like PKT at UT, then the next three are also perfectly great sororities but not as concerned with looks and social status (Tri Delt, Chi O, ZTA). which is the same at UT. Baylor has a "big 6" but it would be better if we got some more sororities.

I'd say this is pretty accurate. The PKT is getting bigger not just at baylor but in the whole state (except a&m but they don't really count) and the next three are also spot on. More aororities would make it more competitive and like ut, there would be many groups considered "the bottom"

You're kidding right?
A&M has a 70% acceptance rate... And takes like 10,000 kids a year
Baylor and TCU both have much lower acceptance rates and take 3,000 or less
a&m is not hard to get into

PKT: Texas strong (UT SMU etc)
Chi O Tri Delt: have always been traditionally strong at Baylor
Zeta: new kid on the block
AXO ADPi: newest means lowest

after big 6 UT has the "core 4": AXO ADPi APhi and DG (it might be KD instead of ADPi but you get the point). then the bottom is Alpha Xi Delta.

Core 4 should really be core 5 to include KD. I think KD gets a bad rep because they closed once and had to come back but all 5 middle tier chapters are really strong there

most girls going into rush want PiPhi, XO or Tridelt. They are the most popular sororities with the biggest tradition and wealthiest girls. Most fraternities would rather party with Theta or Kappa because they're "more fun" and considered "hotter"...just depends what you're looking for. ZTA, AXO and ADPi are more laid back and let you be yourself. All 8 groups are huge though so it doesn't matter where you end up as long as you're Greek. Enjoy your sorority!

There are unattractive girls in every sorority, and there are pretty girls in every sorority. Pi phi, theta, and kappa all have each other's girls in their rooms during pref day, and some people would consider the type of girls in these sororities top tier. Girls who have Tri Delt and chi o on pref day are typically cute but don't go out at all.

isn't helping your point. The more PNM's a group has in their room for Pref, the less popular the sorority is with PNMs. guess you don't know how rush works

This reply! Baylor should not be compared to UT it any big state school. Baylor is "so much better!"

Baylor in general is better.
But you are kidding yourself if you think Baylor's Greek life is better than UTs.
If UT-Austin does one thing right its Greek life.
