rushing a second time
by: PuzzledI left recruitment earlier this week because I was cut from the couple of sororities I was mostly interested in and heard so many rumors among other pnms like pre-selected pledge class for some sororities, girls being asked to drop a sorority to be considered for another, etc. I certainly was deeply influenced by my emotions. However, I'm not at peace with my decision. Now I think I should have stayed and figure out if I could be a part of whichever house gave me a bid if any. Is it possible to rush a second time as a sophomore? Will I be blacklisted from certain sororities for leaving? Any advice is appreciated.

You can rush as a sophmore but your choices will be limited, if any, if its your 2nd rush. The groups you wanted will still not offer you a bid.The groups you had left when you dropped may not want you because they will think you thought you were too good for them. Your best bet is to contact panhellenic and put your name on the snap or cob list. If you know someone in one of the sororities you ranked low, let them know you regret your decision to drop out.
