rec letters

Hi! I'm going to be a freshman next year and I am very interested in rushing. But I'm a little confused about rec letters. I don't currently know anyone who is an alumni of any sorority so I was just wondering how rec letters work. Thanks! Go Bears!

check if your hometown has an alumnae panhellenic group. if so, you can usually get recs through the alumnae panhellenic group. to rush a sorority at baylor you do not need a rec for a group, however you have a better chance of getting invited back to a party after open house if you do have a rec.
