float pairs

Float pairs tell you more about sorority ranks than do random opinions:
Pi Phi - Kappa Sig
Theta - ATO
Kappa - Phi chi
Zeta - Phi Delt
Tri Delt - Pi Kapp
AXO - Sig Ep
ADPI- SAE... Except this was the most random pair ever

But wouldn't you have to know how the fraternities rank in order to find out how to rank the sororities and vice versa?

This doesn't speak to rankings at all. Each group partners with who they do because of one reason, who can help them win. Several of the matchups are super weird this year but, I guess that's just how they turned out this year. Also you forgot Chi O and Delt paired for float.
