How hard is rush if I have no recs? I do go to a private school, does that help?

Sororities you MUST have a rec to even be considered to be asked back the second day: KKG, DDD, PBP, XO
As for KAT, ZTA, AXO and ADPi, I know for a fact they can and do overlook rec letters, but you still need to get them in
