new chapters?

by:

so I have heard talk about sororitys/frats coming to baylor soon?
like sigma chi and sigma nu
on the sorority side I've heard talk about DG
Are these chapters likely to come to baylor, and would it be anytime soon?

Also what's the thing with FIJI? I'm not at Baylor now so I'm a little confused? They're on probation right? when are they coming back on campus officially?

Sigma Chi has been making a big push to come back on campus.... A former Baylor Sigma Chi alumni, Big Wayne, was the last grand president of Sigma Chi nationals.

Don't know anything about Sigma Nu... doesn't matter they sucked when they were here and their not very good nationally anyway.

Fiji will be off probation and back on in the fall.

Sigma Nu is very strong throughout the South (Texas schools aside) and pretty middle tier in other regions. Upper echelon like most of the fraternities at Baylor. There's 75 NIC fraternities, and Phi Delt and Kappa Sig aren't included in those numbers, but everyone except maybe TKE is a top 15 national (in size and strength) as are Sigma Nu and Sigma Chi. TKE is 2 in chapters and like 8 in undergrads, but I'm not sure if having 200+ really bad chapters can balance 40 or so decent ones.

I would imagine Baylor brings on another sorority soon.

Too bad since they all seem to be doing good with the number they have.

But Baylor always likes to screw up a good thing.

Tam was a DG so as long as she is here there won't be a DG chapter

Sigma chi will be coming back. You can only keep the nations biggest fraternity out for so long and their ban ended this past year. So now its just up to the paper work and communication between he fraternity and school. I haven't heard many good things about sigma nu anywhere.

Sigma Nu is good in the deep south....everywhere else they are as bad as TKE. Get above the Mason-Dixon and tell people you're a sigma nu and they will laugh.

Also, I though SAE was the largest national fraternity followed by SigEp? when did Sigma Chi become the largest?

With fraternity membership declining, and the average chapter size of ~60, there is little hope of another fraternity coming on. Sororities are needed more so.

Tam dunn was a DG so until she leaves we won't have a DG. If anything they would try to start up KD again.

There needs to be at least 2 more sororities. Having 89 girls in a pledge class when there isn't even a house doesn't make any sense. Placing that many girls as quota brings down the good houses. UT only has about 65 girls in each pledge class and so does A&M AND they have large beautiful homes to accommodate the girls.

UT quota is more like 75, don't know about A&M.

don't ever refer to sororities as a "sorority" no one says that and Total Sorority Move is something you need to stop reading.
