Blacklisting / rush 24
by: PNMWho is responsible for giving bids to PNMS? How much influence does the sophomore recruiting class have on the incoming PNMs chances for a bid? When blacklisting happens is it only for one sorority or does that get communicated to all the sororities? How much influence does social media / freshman & sophomore year of high school social media presence have on the recruitment process? If I feel like I’m blacklisted unfairly during rush can I speak with an exec?

deciding how someone gets a bid varies between chapters and the algorithm they use is kept confidential- a lot of times chapter members don't even know how someone is kept or dropped. If you're worried about being blacklisted for something that happened in high school the best thing to do would be to speak candidly with some girls in different chapters. Blacklisting across multiple chapters can happen, but usually only happens in instances where a girl has done something serious.
