What's it like not getting a bid from the sorority that was your top choice? How often does it happen? Does it make bid day awful? Is it a shock?

the house that you want at the beginning of rush will most likely change by the end of rush. everyone and their mom thinks they want kkg and piphi until they actually meet the girls

I got my bottom house on bid day and I was so upset. Like I literally cried when I read it. But I went ahead and stuck it out for bid day and then I realized it was so not what I thought it would be like. I LOVE my sisters and I can not emphasize enough how important it is to just make the best out of the situation. And if it really is horrible, be that change. Make your sorority the top house by the time you graduate. At the end of the day, it's better to be Greek than geed!
