Girls in top houses love it their first year because it boosts their ego. 90% of the time these top house girls drop the following years because they actually hate all of their “sisters,” are constantly dealing with mean girls and chapter drama and toxicity. Middle and lower tier houses usually have much stronger sisterhoods and see larger members actually graduating with their letters.

it’s so funny watching them realize that the “popular” sororities they joined are nothing more than lame banner photoshoots to advertise to the next set of pnms. glad i didn’t fall for it and can enjoy a sisterhood with no fakeness.

as a girl in one of these, i genuinely have found the best friends in my sorority and never once have i felt like anyone is fake. i rushed the one i did because it felt authentic, not because it’s “top.” that was the least important thing going through recruitment for me. would 100% rather have a great sisterhood with wholesome and kind girls and that’s what i found.
