hate teachers who say save ur qs until the end

by: the end

First of all, the chances of me remembering my question in 30 minutes is low because I’m too busy trying to remember what you’re actively teaching me.

Second of all, how can you expect me to accurately understand the material and follow along with the lesson if I have gotten confused along the way and instead of helping that confusion you just keep going? This has a domino effect, because if I didn’t understand how you went from point A to point B, I’m not going to understand how you’re getting to point C and beyond.

I understand there is an amount of material that has to be discussed during this time period, but what is the point in discussing material that nobody is following along with anyways because we got lost at some point?

It’s aggravating and, to me, discourages learning. If a student is saying “hey, I don’t understand this part. Can you help me?”, you’re basically saying “No I don’t have time to help you, I’m moving on.” Well guess who’s going to be discouraged from attempting to understand again?

It’s very irritating, and I don’t like continuing with a lesson that I don’t understand what is happening.

ETA: I understand some do this because their lesson will eventually answer the question, but I am not referring to situations like this. I have had many times where the continued lesson DID NOT answer the question, and I was left trying to keep up in a lesson I no longer understood.
