rec letters?

I am going to rush a sorority next year and was wondering how much my recs will really play into it?

For instance I can get a rec from one of the top kappa alums but how much is it really going to help me in the rush process?

Top alums are definitely helpful! Every sorority looks at recs in different ways. Depends on the organizations.

Rec letters are very important! Every chapter requires that you send one in, but I would recommend sending two or three to your top 4 choices just to show your interest. Letters are a great way to get your name out there and let a sorority get to know more about you, but it will never replace putting in the work first semester. Be sure to go to sub dinners and make friends in the groups that interest you because that will be the biggest factor!
