You cannot sum up an entire sorority in one or two adjectives. All sororities have partiers and non-partiers, studious girls and those who coast, pretty girls and plain girls, etc. The key is to find out which one(s) YOU connect with and enjoy spending time around. Don’t let the generalizations on GR influence your decision.

no offense but piphi and kappa took in a bunch of average looking girls this year if you want to the truth. the girls who rush the best sororities are the ones who go for the friendships regardless of the “rankings”. frats date girls in all sororities and if you only rush for frats/their parties which majority of girls can get into, you’re shallow.
