help with sorority rush / nervous

hey gal! I cant think of any girls with disabilities in one of the Baylor chapters, however I would hope that that isn't something the chapters look at when considering a pnm.
obviously nothing is guaranteed, but it is usually extremely beneficial if you know members in the sorority already or have a letter of rec for the chapters you want. It's definitely possible to get into your fav sorority without these things but if you're looking for chapters that consider themselves "top tier" like kappa or piphi and you don't know anyone, it is likely you would get cut. I know a “little person” girl who got into a sorority at a different school. It was the very bottom sorority, but she found her girls. Just know that if you have a disability that is very clear to see, some chapters may not ask you back because they prioritize looks / image over character. No big deal- “bottom” houses have just as much to offer.

for sure in the more lowkey sororities- personality is what matters. having a disability gives you a unique experience and feel free to share that if you’re comfortable but being authentic and comfortable is noticeable and memorable much more than looks. don’t stress out about it bc truly as an active I’ve learned so many things from pnms y’all are too wise

If a sorority cuts you because of a disability, shame on them. You don’t want those people in your life anyways.
