Rush as a sophomore transfer
by: TransferHelpI’m a sophomore considering transferring to Baylor just in time for rush. I’m the first in my family to join a sorority, so no legacies. What are my odds of getting a bid? I already know a couple of sorority members.

chapters here COB which is a process you can do more research on, but many sophomores get in though that process.
houses that Consider Themselves don’t take sophomores at all (kappa & piphi& (don’t know about chi o)) but chapters like theta and tridelt take few girls.
it’s pretty late in the game so my advice is to literally meet as many girls on rush dates as you can. if they don’t know you they will cut you, and you’ll have to work harder since you’re a sophomore.
you are definitely capable of getting in where you want and i’m rooting for you!

I don’t know about pi phi, but Kappa actually does take sophomores! They’ve started doing it for the past couple rush cycles

also you do NOT need to be a legacy to get a bid from a MAJORITY of chapters. many girls are first gen greek life
