What is the TKE chapter at Baylor like? First thing that comes to mind when you hear about TKE?

Chapter isn’t that impressive but Willie Nelson was a TKE at Baylor so that’s pretty cool

If you are apart of a local chapter and graduate before they become a national charter, that does not make you an alumni of the national chapter. Before Kappa chartered here they were the Athenian society, but any girl who was in the Athenian society and graduated before they chartered as kappa, is not a kappa. So Willie is not a TKE. Connected to the Baylor chapter, maybe. But still not a TKE…

I know there are articles that say he was a TKE at Baylor, but how is this the case if Baylor local fraternities did not even charter nationally until years after Willie was here.

Before Baylor fraternities became affiliated with national orgs in 1976-1977 they were all local. KOT being the only one that continued to stay local only. So Taurus became Beta Theta Pi, Tryon Coterie became Phi Delt Theta, etc.

All the fraternities at Baylor were once local except Pi Kapp who was founded in like 2004 and Phi Chi was founded in 1988. Everyone else was on campus before the 1976-77 school year.

TKE was here before 1976-1977 but I have no idea what they called themselves back then....that is the local fraternity that Willie joined.
