lets clear some things up!

Snap Bidding---At the end of recruitment there will be a number of girls without a bid to any house. Snap bidding is where a sorority that doesn't reach quota can see these girls and decide to give them a bid on the spot. Rush can be confusing and sometimes you think a girl is going to suicide for one house and misread her intentions. This keeps girls from walking away heartbroken and without a bid.
COR-- Continuous Open Recruitment-- Sororities have the open to hold rush during the spring semester.this is for girls who weren't sure bout formal rush or didnt get their paperwork turned in on time. These are usually girls that have friends in sororities. A sorority sister may thing "ughhh why didnt ___ rush?!" and REALLY want her to join so she nominates her for COR. Pnms still go through the rush process and have lunch and meetings with members of sororities. Its usually a longer process, but they can be initiated after the Formal Rush pledge class.
There are multiple sororities that do both of these options. They do not reflect badly upon a sorority and they are not something to be ashamed of.
Stop the hate speech. We are panhellenic. We are together.
