sorority math
by: Come on girls
PNMs need to get off their high horses a bit.... As if you get to choose?
Last year about 1,000 or more girls rushed. 80 or so to a pledge class, meaning roughly 640-660 girls got bids.... So a third of the girls didn't get bids at all. Of those 650ish girls, about 170 end up in ΑΧΩ and ΑΔΠ. And if you're picky and want one of the top 4 (ΚΚΓ ΠΒΦ ΧΩ ΚΑΘ), then there are only 320 spots open for those. Now lets say you're dumb enough to rush BOTH ΠΒΦ and ΚΚΓ (they hate each other so good luck with that) then there are only about 160 spots available. Now evaluate that for yourselves, girls. You can't be so picky and act as if you're "better" than any sorority. You're competing for not a lot of spots. And for a lot of sororities, there's much more to it than looks and wealth. Just think about what it is that makes your so sure you're better than everyone else in your freshman class if you're gunning for just one.
