question

by:

I am a sophomore considering going through recruitment in spring 2014. I have good grades and I'm somewhat involved in organizations and volunteer work. I do not know any sorority women at baylor. Will it be hard for me to receive a bid? Or should I be ok if I keep an open mind? Thanks!!

Totally go for it! It doesn't matter that you don't know any girls at the moment, a lot of rushees don't. But you need to start going to SUB dinners frequently and get to know as many sorority girls as you can before recruitment week, that is the only way you will get a bid from most of the sororities. That is what SUB dinners and fall recruitment events are for.

Definitely go for it, and I agree with comment #1, SUB dinners are a must, especially for a peson in your situation.

Keep in mind Baylor's recruitment is very competitive but totally worth it, good luck!
