Is recruitment at Baylor cut-throat like it is at a lot of Texas schools? With so many cute accomplished girls going through and only 8 sororities, that seems a little intense! When do they make the biggest cuts and how many sororities do you go to for pref?

Baylor in the past had every girl make it into a sorority but last year, about 1000 girls rushed and only 700 girls got a bid. I would say make sure you have a rec letter for every sorority even if you don't think you'd fit in that one. When it comes time for rush week, you will want to have every option open at the beginning so you can stay open minded when things don't always turn out how you planned. The biggest cuts I think are made on the morning of the 2nd day because that is when girls are cut for grades and/or not having rec letters. Hope this helps! :)

No, it's not cut throat since it's deferred to January. Most sororities already know who they want to pledge and most girls have it narrowed down to 2-3 choices. You go to 2 parties pref round.
