bids in the summer
by: CuriousIs it bad that a sorority gave me an oral bid this summer?

If you really want to be in that sorority, go to the sub dinners and meet more people. if it was a sophomore who "offered you a bid"... well sophomores really don't have that much say and don't know what's really going on so they can't tell you if you're going to get a bid because the exec board could straight up not like you and then you're done. One person isn't enough to get you into a sorority.
but yeah, the best thing to do is rush them, but keep in mind they could totally screw you over and, unless you're a legacy, they probably will. A few sororities here are notorious for giving oral bids (I'd rather not say which 3 or 4 but you'll figure it out) and completely screw a bunch of pnms over... not always intentionally, mostly they just have no idea how rush works yet.
So my advice: rush that sorority, meet people, but keep an open mind and rush other groups too... you'll almost definitely end up withdrawing from rush if you suicide for just one with the idea that they're giving you a bid (which it kind of sounds like you're doing)

Alright calm down #7 this problem is common at other schools too and is posted on greenkrank. With your language maybe you should grow up a bit and stop being so critical.
