old money
by: ???I’m transferring from ut and I was thinking about rushing next spring, but there...you can’t get into pkt (top 3 houses there) without having some kind of connection...and they pretty much all have really old money. I was just wondering if that applies here? Thanks!

There is old money, or just money in general in all the sororities.
Greeks are leaders in the Baylor traditions such as Sing and Homecoming Float. They provide a lot of back to school events and lots of campus awareness of their philanthropies. Greek Life is very important to Baylor.

Basically all of ut has money when it comes to Greek life, I was just asking more along the lines of old money being a common thing for top houses. Basically if your family isn’t from Alamo heights or hp and you’re not a deb girl- you can’t get top three at ut and that hasn’t changed since ever. But ty for yalls responses, I feel a lot better!!

B honest
There are a lot of students here that can’t get into Texas so I kind of think you’re getting second-tier girls a lot of times. I don’t think it’s as competitive
