SO, Alpha Phi, KD and Gamma Phi Beta have been invited to present at Baylor to add another sorority! Super exciting!

Has actually Baylor announced this?

Didn't KD fail here already? And no way Alpha Phi fits in here (not enough hot/cray cray girls).

Maybe GPhiBeta, but they aren't the strongest one of the 3 nationally. , not that it would take a powerhouse to establish a chapter here since we don't have houses.

I am shocked alpha phi is even getting considered. They have so many issues nationally and all they do is recruit for looks which is why they're having so many problems. The worst possible fit for BU

The only issues APHI has is a large # of chapters at the better schools, a large total membership, mostly mid to top chapters nationwide and really, really pretty girls.

Kappa Delta or Gamma Phi Beta should be chosen. Neither are particularly strong in Texas but the only way to gain strength is to build chapters, so colonizing at Baylor would help them. They're both better campus fits than Alpha Phi in my opinion. Too much controversy with that sorority and too much emphasis on being a certain "type." Kappa Delta is, from what I can tell, a bit stronger nationally and was the last chapter at Baylor so they would probably get priority. I just hope that the campus supports whoever colonizes instead of attacking them from the start so they can build up a strong chapter.

KD is not strong nationally, only in the south.

They are usually bottom to lower-mid at best everywhere else. But since they were at Baylor before, give them a shot. Maybe they have a better # of alum in the area to help. idk

ok, last comment.

I agree with you, though. APHI is the only sorority that looks the same anywhere in the country. looks looks looks

idk what you're talking about. They sure do seem to have hot girls all over, so you must be bothered that you aren't that type. I'm not that type and that's OK. look back in history and they look like every other sorority but now they are definitely the super attractive group.

I have to think they would be bottom at first but they always seem to jump leap into mid tier pretty fast once they get going.

When I say KD isn't strong nationally, I mean that they are not mid or top tier most of the time.

It's not about numbers.

DZ is not a strong sorority in this respect either, but it is large in numbers.

Looks like all 3 are big in terms of numbers.

They are just numbers/basic facts. Nothing more. I don't know why anyone would down-vote or up-vote. I was just curious.

Kappa Delta has 5 collegiate chapters (add Texas A&M and Texas A&M-Commerce to your list) and 16 alumnae chapters in Texas. There is strong alumnae support in Waco for this expansion. I hope Baylor panhellenic chooses KD!

KD will understand the history of Baylor and the unique culture at Baylor. They bring already established BU alumni as well as KD Alum. All just depends on where Baylor wants to go forward and build. I do hope whoever is chosen will be welcomed with open arms and be given the support by the University to succeed

It seems that the most hate comes from those who are the most challenged by a strong group!
