legacy question
by: sic'em 2017I'm a legacy to a sorority at Baylor but my mom didn't go to BU. How much does that matter? Should I actively rush several other sororities? From what I know so far, I'm really interested in my legacy sorority but don't want to mess up my chances of getting a bid from another group.

Only ever talk about your legacy status if you really want to be in that sorority. It does matter. KKG and PBP will drop you if you mention being a legacy to anything else--they have better girls who are for sure wanting to be in their sororities. If you put it on your form, only that sorority will know. Most sororities try to cut legacies quickly, so they aren't led on. If you're weird, don't force yourself on a top or even mid sorority. Just go bottom. Or DDD. They'll take you, baby legacies.
