rush dates
by: thinking greekI've heard that pledge classes are often already picked out before rush and that girls get asked on rush dates during the fall. My sister goes to UT and I know that the sororities aren't allowed to do that there anymore. What is allowed and what is dirty rushing?

dirty rushing does not exist at baylor because their are no greek houses and not many students live on campus. at cornell for example ( a school with an amazing greek system) dirty rushing occurs when students go to greek events at greek houses after the rushing period has occurred. after the rushing period ends you are suppose to stay in your dorm and no go to any greek houses. because baylor has no greek houses, dirty rushing does not EXIST

they aren't technically "allowed" but yes, that is how the greek women get to know the girls rushing

Who cares about Cornell and what does that have to do with rush at BU? Dirty rushing isn't about houses, it's about not following the rules that the campus panhellenic establishes about contact between active sorority members and rushes.
