frat or no frat

What do you think is most important when trying to
Decide on which fraternity is best for you? The people currently in it ? The connections the whole fraternity later on can bring you? Their on campu reputation? Or maybe national reputation ? Philanthropy? Or any other values I haven't mentioned ? Let me know what you think.
And ladies, feel free to respond as to what you value and think guys should look at when rushing.
