sorority reps
by: BU21Incoming freshman, which sorority is best? Ones to avoid? Real reputations?

Some of the above descriptions are on target. Yet, several are wrong. My suggestion is to try not to look at this website for information. When you start in the fall, go to all of the sub dinners and meet girls for all of the sororities. You will get a sense of the sororities/sorority members you feel most you can relate to as a whole. HOWEVER, do not focus on just one sorority (though you will likely have a favorite), have three in mind as you entire rush in January '18. Best!

I think that that the Recent Grad comment is very good advice for incoming freshman. It is a good idea to try to enjoy recruitment by getting to know some of the people in each sorority. That way, they will be able to start rush with a few options. (Let me guess, the OP is either a Kappa or Pi Phi, as descriptions are the most positive.)

You will not go wrong with any of the Baylor sororities. All are good choices.
Just understand that much of what you read on this site can be lies and exaggerations. Of course, every group wants to self-promote. Go to the Sub rush dinners. Make friends in several chapters as you will most likely remain their friends after rush, regardless of what sorority you join.
