coming as a theta
by: transfer thetaI'm a Theta at another well-known private Christian school in the south. At my school Theta is top tier, if not #1 (just being honest). The reviews on here seem to portray Theta at Baylor as just being mediocre -- nothing special. My mom was a Pi Phi at Baylor and from what I've read that sorority seems to fit my personality and match my current Theta experience better. How would Baylor Theta compare? Would it be a huge adjustment?

honestly theta at baylor is a solid middle tier sorority. there really isn't a stereotypical theta like there are stereotypical girls in other sororities. theta is really diverse and i think it's just about finding your niche in the sorority. i would say try it, and then if you don't like it just disaffiliate. honestly it can't hurt to just see if it works for you and if not just don't be in it. i wouldn't focus on the name of a sorority or the rank of it

If you chose not to affiliate with the Baylor chapter (you'd have to ask them prior to joining as a transfer), then you just become a Theta alum. You don't disaffiliate or renounce your letters. There would be no sense in that since it's not like you could join another chapter. There's no Baylor Pi Phi in your future, aside from making new friends.

Theta at Baylor is a strong chapter. You mind find that you like the girls, and all the sorority does at Baylor. They are fun, nice, well-rounded, smart, and overall well-liked. Now, PP is one of the best at Baylor, but that depends on what you experience and who you hang with (Their opinions.)Try not to worry too much about "image." It'll make life better.
