Zeta at Baylor is a good sorority all around but very large in numbers. Their philanthropy is very strong and they are your classic type of state school sorority. They like to have fun and care about their academics. Fraternities really like them because they are very social and attractive. The one thing about them is since they take so many members they can often get cliquey and high school type situations occur (like any sorority or situation girls have). They have notoriously held the tradition on their initiation week to make their new members drink to the point they blackout and go to fraternity parties during the week called “The Great Awakening.” These parties take place early in the week based on when their dry period ends. Their new member initiation has them get pinned on their foreheads and they draw blood which is creepy and not really a pleasurable experience. There have been rumors circulating regarding whether they make their new members lose x amount of weight prior to initiation. Their advisors are trying to get rid of their notorious stereotype for being partiers. Everyone parties in college (maybe not at Baylor) so people need to cut them some slack.

Baylor Kappa is an interesting sorority. The girls are either gorgeous or they are honey boo boo look alikes. They have been involved in controversy for hosting a Kappa Breakfast the first week of Baylor to dirty rush girls. They also have an initiation that lasts an entire night where they make their new members strip and run through a grave yard. Last year, they were not allowed at a Panhellenic preview for dirty rushing and bid promising (hence why so many sophomores this year live in kappa houses). Their members are very preppy, mid looking and blonde. They breathalyzer at their own dances because they don’t trust their members.

Baylor SAE has some of the kindest guys at Baylor. They are sweet, easy to talk to, and take protocol very seriously. Their parties are fun if they don’t get shut down. The one con is their music choice at parties because it is mid and prevents people from dancing. They have a very consistent reputation at Baylor and attract a very niche crowd of girls to their parties. Their members have a lot of fun, but take academics seriously. Each member has their own personality and are down to earth people!

KSig at Baylor are wealthy country boys. They have great parties that do NOT ever get shut down. Their members all know each other and have a strong brotherhood. The guys are down to earth and are very kind hearted people. My one con is they have an obsession with kappas. They are mid and not worth the hype. They are really funny and always have consistent parties.

Sigma Chi at Baylor has been struggling to get a consistent crowd at their parties. The Baylor party scene is lame so it’s not their fault. The guys are preppy, smart, and pretty good looking. Their parties are great, but their houses are too small and cannot accommodate a lot of people indoors. Their popularity at baylor is always consistent and they are intelligent guys.

Delt at baylor is on the rise. People go to their parties and the guys are hot. Baylor fraternities are overall lame and this is the one fraternity you forget you are at this baptist institution. The guys are funny and good looking. Their parties are solid and consistent!
