by: freshmanHi I'm going through sorority rush this spring and I don't really understand the obsession with being Top Tier. If I join a low tier sorority, will guys like point and laugh as I walk by wearing my letters? Will my sisters be mean to me? Will my house be small and dumpy? I know this may sound sarcastic but what would happen if I don't get into a Top Tier?

I'm in what is considered a "bottom tier" sorority and in my opinion, it was the best decision I've made yet. Just because my sisters and I aren't Barbie dolls doesn't mean we aren't great people. We know how to have a good time, we have a genuine sisterhood and let's be honest, that's what matters. Don't worry about getting into a top tier. Pick the sorority that fits you best- despite stereotypes and preconceived notions.
