I heard that they were already in trouble because they got caught making pledges wear suites, but during the course of the investigation one pledge mentioned how they have to sleep in the house every Sunday night which got them on cease and Desist from emory and nationals

Yes. Cease and desist is what nationals/emory will put you on pending charter revoke. This is what happens during serious investigations and means that the chapter has to halt all brotherhood and social events (but are allowed philanthropy events). While on cease and desist you are on social probation by default. Social probation is when you mess up but are not at risk of losing your charter. I’m not sure the likelihood but if they are on cease and desist they can lose their house
