theta update
by: KaoTheta was NOT kicked off campus although their lodge was taken away for the 2017/18 year. They are still recognized as an existing chapter at Emory, although many of the more relevant members have dropped and will potentially create something off campus (a social club with off campus house or a university recognized "service" club). Thetas long standing rep of being at the top of Emorys social scene, high level of involvement across campus, and overall attractiveness will naturally pose a huge threat to all other sororities, regardless of if they are off campus. I'm sure thetas will find a way to preserve their relevance and heavily recruit many of the top incoming freshman.
