"everyone gets into gphi -- i don't know anyone who didn't get a bid there" ... you can only get a bid from one sorority (and no pref night is not the same as getting a bid -- plenty of girls pref a house and don't get a bid to it even though it was their top choice) so unless you only know girls in gamma phi you know girls who didn't get a bid there. i understand why you would be confused though because gamma phi's pledge class was so much bigger than the other houses so they definitely weren't very exclusive but honestly with pledge classes averaging 65 as opposed to 35 like in previous years, no sorority got to be as exclusive as they wanted...just look as tridelt =/
also rumor has it SDT will be rushing this year but as a brand new sorority and aephi will be back the following recruitment but they've been doing underground rush for the past few years

i don't think ADPI and Kappa are on the same level anymore... adpi is way better than kappa. Kappa is falling, Tridelt is falling, adpi and gamma phi are on the rise. Theta is getting jappy but maybe the return of phi will end that trend. and dphie is the new sdt
